For my birthday last month Rich and I spent the day in Edinburgh. The two of us took the train and we spent the afternoon walking around the old city and castle. It really is different than Glasgow! And we had a lovely day.
and I got fireworks on my cake.For Richard's birthday next month we are going to London! Actually we will be leaving London. We are finally going to get to see the Avett Brothers! I was so excited when I heard they were touring the UK that I bought tickets that very night. And I bought plane tickets to London too. Then just about the next day I head that my Human Rights class' annual trip to Strasbourg is the weekend before! So what was going to be a quick trip to London mid-week has turned into a week long trip encompassing Paris, Strasbourg and London! And I'll have to meet Rich in London- good thing most of my assignments will be turned in by then... and I get to see the Avett Brothers live FINALLY! And in London...

You are going to flip at the Avett Brothers!! They seriously know how to put on a concert. I was on their website last night trying to find the next time the were doing a show near here. I'm going to have to wait and see.
How fun to do a tour of three amazing places too. As much as I'm sure you're ready to come home, I'll bet you've loved your time there too. Ah the bittersweets of life...
How fun! The whole fam loves when Kalani plays Avett Brothers songs on the guitar. That will be an awesome concert.
